You have us beat. I mean, we live out in the country, but the worst we've had, besides, of course, the cats bringing in semi-dead mice and voles, have been a bat in the living room, a different one in the bedroom, a humming bird in the living room, and an owl in the henhouse. That one was scary -- an owl up close can do a LOT of damage with its huge claws. It was sitting on the roosting rail at the far end of the henhouse and I had to go in with a broom and, uh, encourage it to fly all the way across the henhouse and out the door without swiping me with its talons as it went by. Nervewracking, I can tell you.
Of course I don't count the outdoor things, like deer up on the porch eating the geraniums, the raccoons all over the place including looking in the windows, foxes in the fenced hen yard (twice), the rat eating the bird seed out of the bird feeder, etc., etc., etc. |
