Missile defense, even assuming it could ever work (tests to date suggest otherwise), is precisely the sort of antiquated idea that should be discarded. Did you check out www.economist.com? Europe (and remember, the Economist represents the right wing of European opinion) has no idea why we are pushing this lunatic idea.
