I would grant you a part of that assertion, except that no matter what users choose they are unlikely to even be given a choice of a platform by a service provider unless that service had the endorsement of at least one of the standards setting bodies.

Okay, that's true from a topological standpoint, but it isn't necessarily true from a logic-based restoration standpoint, unless it is so provisioned in software and hardware to act as such.

I wasn't aware that we were exploring that point. Which begs the question: What are we exploring at this point?
