It certainly doesn't seem like much but it's apparently the best offer these guys have been able to get for the data they still hold and for what's left of the leases they still retain. It was beginning to look like Epic would never get another chance to drill a production well. They now have a chance to put together several sections of land and drill some production wells. My guess is that any wells drilled would target conventional production which even at modest rates of production and current prices would result in decent cash flow. All it would take is a few days of drilling to reach target depth. Finally, those of us that took a huge loss to this point might see Epic turn it's fortunes around. Better late than never!
