Jeffry: Finally, I'm answering your question. Sorry, I've been very busy.

I'll only list the stocks with 15%+ returns:

CVR - 14.9% return - bought on 4/28 @ 39-1/2 - Merit=64 - 5.3% above high on 4/21 - 3rd stage breakout - sold on 6/16 because of RS stop.

VMC - 18.4% return - bought on 5/5 @ 66-1/2 - Merit=60 - one tick above high on 3/18 - 1st stage breakout - money-flow very strong breakout from a cup formation.

SVM - 27.4% return - bought on 4/1 @ 27-3/8 - Merit=63 - 3.3% above high set on 1/9 - 1st stage breakout from a 24-week base - money flow good.

TKR - 28.2% return - bought 4/28 @ 28-3/8 (split-adjusted) - Merit=61
3.2% above high of 27-1/2 set on 4/8 - 3rd stage breakout (getting dangerous) - 2nd stage base was 11-weeks long - money flow excellent.

CAT - 15.5% return - bought on 5/5 @ 93-3/8 - Merit=59 - 12.0% above high of 83-7/8 set on 3/24 breaking a cardinal rule (I've since become more strict) - 1st stage breakout from 21-week base - money flow excellent for a big cap stock.

CR - 18.0% return - bought on 4/28 @ 35-1/2 - Merit=56 - 4.4% above high of 34 set on 2/18 - 1st stage breakout from an 11-week base - money flow adequate.

I still own all of these except CVR.

I don't know if this answers your question adequately. If not, let me know. I like high merit rankings with long bases or nice cups that show an upswing in institutional buying and accelerating OBV. Still waiting for that one-bagger. (g)
