HI Joe,Tom; one of the pleasures of posting here is that by and large you get to deal with people with real names whose integrity is open for all to view.

Next week will be interesting on the permit/soap opeara front, in the market I don't expect much change. The longs will still believe and the doubters doubt and Peters will continue to sell into the market.

Basically nothing has changed we have another administrative snafu and a terse indication that there really is oil. The issue for sometime has been not whether it is there but whether or not they can get it out of the ground.

A couple of years ago I was working in S. Sask and took a weekend off to look for the TV drill site. I was really impressed by how pretty the foothills are. I can understand why residents want to protect the area.

If I am not mistaken the objector might actually own the land the well is on. If that objector is tightly connected to Rio Alto then it has to be pretty embarrassing to have a rival drilling on your property!!!(If you read the NR it appears that the objector is not the president of Rio Alto but someone closely connected).

Nuff said..but don't touch that dial!!!

Later

Keith
