Sorry, but you should have prefaced by "IMO". For some, perhaps even many, this isn't myth but instead fact. While you & I may not agree with their stance, I'm even less comfortable with the mocking of any religious belief.
Would it not be better if you sited an actual demographic study for your assertion the US$ instead of gold being the only recognized money by the world's populations, if any such study exists, or also state it as opinion?
I'm not really sure which the bulk of the earth's population would rather possess, gold or $270 US. Sure I'll agree, those with the power & money today(the US consumer)value dollars more, but is it perhaps not just a matter of fashion, and moreover fashion only driven by propaganda?
