Have you been subject to torture and forced confession? When a friend of mine was audited by the IRS, he got to the appointment on time, but he was shown a room and told to wait for the auditors. They put him in an unventilated windowless room with the heat blasting and kept him there for an hour before an auditor showed up. No forced confession, but subtle torture. Have you been subject to search and seizure without due process? There are too many examples of this to bother listing. See James Bovard's Lost Rights. The 4th amendment is a virtual dead letter. Has someone jailed or fined you for any publication or speech? A guy was put in jail a couple of days ago for recording his pedophilic fantasies in a journal. He didn't do anything, just wrote words on paper. Certain words and thoughts are now illegal
