Does make you wonder what will happen if the company puts out a little good news backed by independent verification....

With BD, metal on the table, and independent lab reports (all good news in hand, undeniable, and released at once), we could see a gap to the low teens and if a short squeeze develops then we're in the high teens quickly. This is all gut feel and I have nothing to back it up except the reports of ever-shrinking float.

As others have posted the funds aren't looking for quick trades on less than 1% of their capital. They need large returns to make the investment pay off, so they won't sell much on the way up.

If all the good news is in hand and the company is planning Global Thermonuclear War on the shorts by releasing it all at once then we'll have one hell of a good time for a while. But we'll also end up overextending and pulling back. The trick is figuring out at what point to take some profits and ride the rest for free.
