Ten days, right? That would make the first post allowed on Deliverance on August 1st.

For the newcomers, we sort of decided, to the extent that there were going to be any rules here, that we would give everybody a chance to get and read the books before anybody starts posting on them. Otherwise, if have to go buy or order it or are a slow reader, it's too frustrating if people who have already read it, or who are fast readers with a freed day, start the discussion early and by the time you've read the book and are ready to discuss it most other people have moved on.

So not by rule, but by courtesy, first posts on Deliverance on August 1st, please.
