Some areas will get drier...some wetter...just look at Saskatchewan for the worst/extreme example.

Look at Alberta for the past couple of years..great Winters with little snow that boosts productivity and saves millions in infrastructure and maintenance costs, but has an affect on farming.

Same for B.C.Ask any B.C'er who lives near the coast if they would prefer this past Winter to years past.

I recently returned from a project in Canada's Far North, near the Beaufort sea ( the 24 Hour Daylight was amazing ).

Having the opportunity to meet many Indigenous folks and talk about such matters , I got first hand perspective.

Noone were complaining about the milder Winters..trust me.And as long as the trend is gradual enough , the Eco system has it's own built-in mechanisms to adapt to the transformation.

Where the problem often arises is when the Eco - Freaks try to reverse the resultant affect on wildlife/nature and people by interference in Nature's complex way of adjusting to the change.

This ranges from the protection of one species ( cause they may be cute and cuddly or something...usually with warm and fuzzy photos of the new born to solicit the gullible and ignorant on the streets of cites where the only animals ever seen are of the two legged type ) to the detriment of others, which are all part of the food chain/Eco system.

Ask the fishermen in Newfoundland about Global warming. They will probably laugh at you.The damage was long inflicted by politically motivated mismanagement and later a drive by the Eco-Freaks to save that cute little baby Seal population , which NOW out-numbers the population of the Province by about 10 to 1, each one consuming thirty times the average intake of fish per person per day.

Even the respected ( not always by mois )David Suzuki has some reservations , although he is following the Eco-Freak line of doom and gloom...........gotta get that funding..EH....heh heh heh.

So those folks who build their mansions on the coast lines may indeed have something to ponder over the next ten years, but a trip to Inuvik or Tuk. lets you consider a completely different perspective on global Warming.

But as I stated..the need for cleaner air etc. is of major concern to many cities......but it is largely the result of migration to those cities from the outlying areas that have put such strain on the system.

Ask Canada Immigration where 90% of new entries into THIS country end up.......they don't go to Inuvik... or St John's for that mater..that's fer sure.
