The state of our newspapers is a good example of Gramscian marxists winning the culture war. When did they start teaching journalism students they weren't allowed to have opinions? After WW II, thats when. And why? FDR almost didn't get his war thanks to Colonel McCormick's Chicago Tribune and several other mid-western papers. The new attitude of total neutrality allows the papers to become mouthpieces for the government. They simply report what the government says, without question.
