Actually, in my experience - and I oversee hundreds of desktops and servers - is that Intel PCs fail more often than AMD based ones.

In all fairness, the average age of our Intel based PCs and servers is greater than the average age of our AMD systems.

But the fact is that Intel machines fail more frequently than AMD ones - in my direct, personal, experience.
