The conservative Christian camp uses Disney as a whipping boy for "all that is wrong with the world" quite frequently because Disney refuses to be biased against homosexuals, so I think it would be rather amusing if Disney did buy Fox Family. Would the conservative Christians refuse to watch the 700 Club on a Disney-owned channel or would they end up "supporting" Disney by tuning in? LOL!

Incidentally, a cousin of mine joined a conservative Christian group for fathers (I've forgotten the name of it) a few years ago and told me about how they were boycotting Disney. He had his children throw out their shirts with Disney characters on them and got rid of their Disney videos. Knowing he was a big sports fan, I asked him how he was doing missing out on ESPN and all the NFL games that ABC carried? The look on his face pretty much said it all. I then informed him that he would have to boycott all of Baseball since baseball teams participated in revenue sharing and Disney owned the Anaheim Angels.

I happened to mention this around his wife and she told him that if he expected the kids to boycott Disney, then he would too. She later told me that the Disney boycott in their house ended pretty quickly. LOL!
