You are so uninformed the premise of liberalism is to allow people to choose their preferences, like to pray on not pray, to be straight or gay, to have the right to have an abortion, to treat all people equally. It is the conservative agenda that wants to decide how every one should think who they should pray to, how they should dress, how they should cut their hair, who the can be with, what they are allowed to see and do. The further right people get the more myopic their view becomes and this line is a wonderful demonstration of myopic viewpoints
