You'd better hope AMD isn't following that strategy. P4 is, in general, a mediocre processor that's expensive to package into a system. It's not selling very well, and to the degree it's selling at all it's because a high, very misleading MHZ number is pasted on the front of the computers using it.

If AMD labels equivalently performing machines with equivalent numbers, P4 is screwed.

How about "Athlon 4 with it's 9 execution units is like an engine with 9 cylinders - P4, with 6 execution units is like a 6 cylinder car"
