You said there were 35 updates...where's the rest? lol I pulled this off a BB...this should tell you a lot about AMD instability claims. "I was putting together a Duron system for a friend but was getting stuck. I couldn't get the PC to POST. I narrowed the problem down to either the Duron, or the mobo. I pulled my Athlon out of my system to see if that could get it to POST, and behold, it did. Then it started smoking. WTF!?!?!?!?!? How long can you safely power up an Athlon w/o a HSF? I only put it in to see if it would POST, so it was only in there for like 10 seconds. I know AMD's, especially Athlons, run really hot, but 10 seconds without a heat sink and they burn? Am I just a moron for doing this, or what?" Get the picture genius? Jim
