Too true, High Grader...

One thing I hate, is to see someone taking out their frustrations on people who have to be nice to them as a part of their job responsibilities. Such rude people violate polite behavior just because they can get away with it.

When I was a child, my uncle was coming to visit us in Western Canada, from Nova Scotia, and got snowbound in Toronto. While most of the rest of the stranded passengers were [understandably] annoyed, and venting their annoyance, he proposed to the airport management that they set up a room as a temporary day-care, and volunteered his time to staff it for the first shift.

He was one of the first out of the airport when the snow cleared.
