Middle East, NI, China, various G5/G7/G8 summits, negotiations with India, N Korea, expansion of NATO, not to mention the Balkans... I'd say that counts as plenty of experience acquired, wouldn't you?

- it's just occurred to me that you may be referring to what he acquired in his role as Governor. I'd assume, none. But he still began by reacting politely to others and not playing the arrogant cowboy. You can learn diplomacy without needing to be involved in foreign affairs... unfortunately, that isn't always the case.
