Bill, I couldn't sleep either. Imagine my surprise when you informed me there is a gardening thread. My wife might be interested. Me, I'd sign up for a dog thread. Their fleas are difficult to subdue. Also, I'd be interested in a campaign to call underperforming stocks CATS, not dogs. Tucker and Lady agree with me on this. Otherwise there seem to be few kooks these days. On the Ligand thread there is a fellow with an idea worth checking out: instead of buying stocks, he buys deep-in-the-money calls. This reduces his gains somewhat, but gives him downside protection. He can only lose the premium. GM
