Some people don't talk, but rather move their lips and make noise for their own gratification. Last week you proclaimed surprise at who is allowed to post (here or on SI, it is of no import) and now you blurt out you ignorance at why this thread was created. Your value judgement of what kind of person would create such a thread is either misguided, or deliberately obtuse, and as such reveals more about you than me.
So, FYI the BR was meant to be a hygiene thread, a trash bin if you will, ugly but necessary to keep other places, where civil discourse was to take place, clean and friendly. It was never meant as a permanent abode, a mutual masturbation hook-up joint. There are plenty of threads for civil discourse.
Furthermore if you are going to make a judgement call on whether I am in possession of "surprisingly good taste" or a modicum of good taste, I should think you would want to further familiarize yourself with the term to which we were referring. Perhaps you should ask gao to explain or even demonstrate, but not on this thread. there are some things that are too vile even for a public potty thread. |
