Are you referring to the Clinton Recession, caused by the Clinton tax increase of 1993? Those who still pump the myth that Clinton helped the economy keep fighting the tax cut even after they have lost. Today "Little Dick" Gephardt promises that people that, if they vote for Democratic congressmembers in 2002, they will modify or reverse the terrible Bush tax cut.

As Paul Begala would say, "PLEASE! PLEASE! run on that idea!!"
