Hi CS, Paul, Gottfried, and Thread,

.....................................Shipments ......Bookings .......Book-to-Bill

January 2001 ......................2,308.4 .........1,854.2 .........0.80
February 2001 ....................2,279.3 .........1,610.9 .........0.71
March 2001 ........................2,020.2 .........1,197.3 .........0.59
April 2001 (final) ..................1,654.6 ............721.3 .........0.44
May 2001 (revised) ..............1,485.0 ............714.0 .........0.48

Why are bookings still half of shipments?

RE: "A book-to-bill of 0.54 means that $54 worth of new orders were received for every $100 of product billed for the month. ...75 percent below the $2.86 billion in orders posted in June 2000."

Isn't that a steeper drop than expected?

Regards,
Amy J
