Does this make sense?

Somewhat, though I am a bit confused that even though you have a strong belief in the short-term decline of the underlying you are entering into a short-term bullish position. Why not sell the stock outright, or use ITM calls to effect a sale? Your SEBL will result in a STCL to offset some of your earlier CC premium gains and/or regular income. If you were protecting a capital gain (as you may be with NTAP) then your strategy would make more sense. Something I'm missing?
