adding to the din of dollar bears -- kasriel article this (july 20 article) is a really outstanding article with over night data on "real" interest rate comparisons of dollar vs. sfr, pound, yen, and euro to support his bearish position on the dollar. in addition he speaks at two different comparision levels (normal and down-to-earth) about his reasons that foreign investors will Not continue to invest in dollars. he also gives an example (in his opinion) in which he thinks the world investors will turn to gold as the reserve currency of choice. this short article is just full of good analysis and information. anyone care to estimate how long before the european central bank will have to lower interest rates too? northerntrust.com
