The Company Seeks Preliminary Injunctions

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 2001--Infotopia, Inc. (OTC:IFTA - news;
``Infotopia'' or the ``Company''), today announced that it filed the complaint in the Bristol
County Superior Court, Taunton, Massachusetts against Raging Bull.com (``Raging
Bull''), Lycos Terra Network, Inc. (``Lycos'') and several individuals utilizing message
boards for the purpose of posting various misleading and harmful information about
Infotopia and its officers and directors. The Company claims in the filed complaint that
information disseminated by several individuals through Raging Bull's message boards has
damaged Infotopia's name and its stock value.

Infotopia Granted a Preliminary Injunction
Prohibiting Certain False, Misleading and
Slanderous Statements

CANFIELD, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 2001--Infotopia, Inc. (OTC BB:
IFTA - news; ``Infotopia'' or the ``Company''), announced today that Justice Charles E.
Ramos of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York has
granted the Company a preliminary injunction against Greg Giordano, Paul Giordano,
First Equity Capital, Inc. and Louis Cimino (collectively, the ``Defendants''). The
preliminary injunction was sought by the Company to prevent the Defendants from
making any false, misleading, libelous, defamatory, slanderous or threatening statements
regarding the Company or any of the Company's officers, directors or employees and
from otherwise interfering with the operation of Infotopia's business. A temporary
restraining order had been previously granted on July 9, 2001. Infotopia's CEO Daniel
Hoyng says, ``The Company is pleased with the court's ruling. It is unfortunate that we
have to bring these types of actions, but we feel that we have a responsibility to our
shareholders to vigorously defend our company name against malicious and defamatory
attacks. We hope that the courts ruling will discourage others from recklessly making
similar statements.''
