Somehow I missed the recent posts about Sue. I hadn't realized she had gotten screwed, and I am very sorry to hear it. I have seen things with doctors for my wife that, had they been more consequential, would have made us rich in malpractice settlements. She has been given incompatible medications that might have caused dreadful side effects had another doctor not caught it; she has been forced into a regimen of outpatient surgery because the fellow she was seeing was a "cutter", and not up on the drug treatment for her condition; she has been handled so cavalierly in outpatient surgery that a procedure that should have taken a couple of days to recuperate from led to extensive bleeding and a two week recuperation; and several other things that have at least irritated the crap out of me.....
