Hi Dylan, I am not real sure what direction SBSE would like to go given the recent change in the CEO. The strategy of the old CEO was to grow the company by diversifying the customer base and product offering. Time will tell what plans the new CEO will follow.

With only a hand full of embedded players (hardware) in the game, PTIX, SBSE, RSYS and MOT, it is hard to know what will happen next. But with MOT being so much larger than all the other players, it would seem that a combination of SBSE and RSYS would make a lot of sense. PTIX is a player in the SS7 market and I think RSYS is on record of wanting to make acquisitions in the SS7 market. It would not surprise me to see RSYS purchase PTIX.

The MOT purchase of BWSI is now understandable given their announcement yesterday to open up their tent of GPRS and 3G technology to the marketplace. If either SBSE or RSYS can provide a boost to MOT's efforts to offer turn key telcom solutions, MOT would buy them in a heart beat. But I wonder along with you if MOT was to purchase either SBSE or RSYS, would there be any antitrust issues to deal with??

I have all the bases covered as I own SBSE, RSYS and MOT (from my BWSI holdings). I think the embedded computer industry overall will grow nicely over the coming years.
