Tell me: If, as Thames Sider says, these embryos are left over from fertility treatments, they have zero chance of ever growing and maturing to become persons. I that is the case, then how can one argue that using them as a stem cell source is in any sense destroying a person- -murder? The potential to be a person was never ever there in the first place.
