I was dead on right.

When I posted that info, in early summer of 1999, all you AMDroids kept screaming I was wrong - and AMD was ready to go with their copper process.

It took AMD another YEAR to get that into production - a YEAR DELAY due to difficulties with copper contamination as well as other problems.
