Updates from Briefing.com and a few other notes of my own. RFMD up but ANAD down on company specific news. A Downgrade of ANAD due to poor earnings and poor guidance on next quarter positive guidance from RFMD. The SOX is currently in a slow painful downtrend in my opinion that will need to sell off below 540 in order to get a decent bounce:

11:54AM RF Micro Device (RFMD) 25.28 +1.28(+5.3%): At shareholder meeting company says it continues to expect near-term revenue growth and market share gains for the SeptQ and a return to profitability in the second half of the calendar year. Comments were a reiteration of guidance issued by RFMD last week at the time of its Q1 earnings report.

10:04AM Nasdaq Composite : -- Technical -- Index fills the gap from July 12 (related to MSFT), retests the 50% retracement of the April/May rally near 1975/1973 and begins to bounce but thus far stymied after filling today's gap (1987). Important short term resistance is in the 1996/2000+ area (solid support over the last week). Intraday indicators are supportive of the turnaround but break/sustained gains above this ceiling are needed to bolster a more favorable near term outlook. Next support on a failure is at 1960.
