Paul and Intel investors:

Below is taken from From Morgan Stanley's comments this morning.

Semiconductor Capital Equipment: June Semi Equip Book-to-Bill is 0.54
Jay Deahna/Steven Pelayo

--The Jun book/bill was up yet again, confirming that Apr was the trough. The Jun book/bill was 0.54, up from the revised May book/bill of 0.48, and higher than our forecasted range of 0.48-0.52. Jun was the third month of Q/Q higher book/bills.

--Signs of stabilization - total bookings flat. Total bookings for Jun remain in the $700MM range, essentially flat for the last 2 months.

--Front-end bookings increased 1.6% Q/Q and front-end billings declined 11.7%, leading to a 0.56 front-end book/bill. Back-end bookings decreased 18.8% Q/Q and back-end billings declined 11.8%, leading to a 0.41 back-end book/bill.

--We believe the book/bill bottomed in Apr. This supports our 'Book-to-Bill Angle Thesis' introduced last month.
