Why not? Now I'm ROFL.

Coke is sugar and water. McDonalds runs hamburger stands, something a majority of high school seniors could probably do quite competently. Brands make something out of nothing, and we are creatures of habit who crave simplicity and predictability and so tend to gravitate to a dominant brand. That's why we have VHS and not Beta and DOS uber alles.

I'm not saying you should agree with me that AOL is a good, speculative long. I'm saying it is a terrible candidate to play from the short side. I guess the last few months have made that pretty clear, anyway.
