TB, From where I sit, your ass is quite pompous, as you consider yourself to the the final authority in all things. I am not surprised by your thoughts of organized religion, You are opposed to organized anything, because you are not in control of them. Your posts all look like pontifications, as you consider yourself to be on a higher plane than the rest of us peons. I worship the diety of God, and Jesus Christ. They do not ask for my mind. They have given me the choice of the destination of my soul once my physical body is not longer able to function. It is an individual, private, choice that anyone can make if they so choose.
I, rarely, use the word "religion" to describe the worship that I do because, the word "religion" is too vague. A religion is a man made set of rules to worship a diety. The men that make a set of these rules can decide what ever they want to be the diety, from a mustard seed, to an elephant, to a continent, to the Earth itself, or the universe itself. The diety could even be a coke bottle. |
