I just spoke with my mother who told me to pass on her "do it if you've not been feeling good" advice. She too, mentioned laparotomy. I've had two (fertility-related stuff) and they're really not that bad.

Personally, I think you should ask for the GB as a souvenir. Keep it in a pickle jar on your desk.-g

I got good news from the doctor about a half an hour ago and we're celebrating our relief with Champange, so I'll say goodnight now.
