The other boards have one thing in their favor: they are free markets. SI is a controlled market because the participants seek to control themselves somewhat. Yahoo is wild in the streets and so it gets on the right view incomparably faster than a thread in SI even when a stock is being posted minute by minute. This demonstrates the critical importance of free markets, the ability to ferret out the truth in the midst of gibberish. I read the Yahoo boards when I want to know something now. I don't go here. As far as analysis or in-depth evaluation, SI was better some years ago before the dregs invaded. Not so now. Patzers posting claims about the length of their dcks tells me more about the true fundamental story than a bunch of SI slugs.
