I'm perplex too about XP. Since 6 months, when setting up a system, I install a multi-boot Win98 + win2000 on computer I setup for my relatives. It a long process to do but the heck.. a belt and a suspenders is a safe way to deal with M$ soft.

Up to now, I use win98 ~99% of the time and its ok. With big memory(256M), win98 may stay up 2 or more days without crashing.
