Actually, both of my children have taught me a few things about politics, compassion, life in general. My son attended a Bush rally last summer here in Cincinnati -- as a spectator, not as a participant. He said the most memorable moment of the rally wasn't Boy George's canned speech, but rather the Republican thugs who roughed up the female demonstrator standing silently at the back of the crowd carrying an anti-Bush sign. You came up with some nice jingoistic phrases in your post, i.e., "full fledged Clintonista." Did you lift that phrase from Rush Limbo's monthly newsletter or think of it all by your lonesome?
