Victor -- It varies -- but Hawaii is working to join the tech world and does have a few advantages. Final Fantasy was just released in the movie theatres, it is a Hawaii based production company that does state of the art annimation. The largest network testing company in the world is here in Hawaii -- founded by a Professor at UH many years ago. Pihana is private but has raised about $400 million in the last 8 months and is building 20 data centers around the Pacific rim -- in other words, it is not all garage style software companies.
