10:49 ET Veritas Software (VRTS) 38.43 +1.05: -- Technical -- Looks like it has room to the upside on a near-term basis. Price has been basing for five days following the company's earnings report and the chart is signaling a potential move higher. Not much in the way of upside resistance until 40.85 which represents the bottom of the gap formed on July 18. Watch for downside support around 37.00-37.10 which represents the July 18 and July 20 closing prices.
