The slow decline on the SOX continues. Now at 544.63 the SOX is destined to keep the NASDAQ from any quick rebound. I fear we are going to revisit the April lows because of the high number of companies lowering guidance for the upcoming quarter. Today I was tempted to buy DPMI as a day trade at the open after the company's earnings expectations were missed so badly. I knew the market was going up and DPMI should rebound from its oversold condition. I would have done very well indeed. However the same happened with ANAD the other day but now ANAD looks like it may also revisit its yearly lows. Lesson here is that to stay long on a stock that has disappointed so badly for more than a day can be very painful even if you buy near the low for the day on such a stock. If we could get enough selling today to hit 520 on the SOX I might be a buyer of something. Not sure what just yet.
