Hi, Underdog,

How about a play? I just bought some August 40 straddles on AVIR. It's going to the FDA with a nebulizer-delivered flu vaccine tomorrow and the next day. It is Aviron's only product of importance nearing commercialization. It is well known that the FDA is very timid these days without a leader. The action will be violent. I'm guessing either $25 or $60+ depending on how the committee decides. The straddle costs a bit over $14 now. I'm figuring ~$12 profit on the downside, ~$13 on the upside. Seemed like a good risk/reward to me.

It may get halted tomorrow, so decide fast. Lots of liquidity in the options now.

Cheers, Tuck
