Re: SyJet for $222 Joe, I just checked the NECX site and they're still selling SyJet PC/SCSI and MAC internals for $222 and they show to have stock. Amazing! This makes no sense to me. If demand is increasing and supply is still ramping up, why the drastic price reduction? I doubt this is any sort of test pricing and it doesn't appear that NECX is severing its ties with SyQuest. SyJet is an award-winning product and I also doubt that it would be upgraded or replaced so early in the cycle. This does however appear to be an isolated incident and there are always situations and reasons that would not be readily apparent to us. If we see another outfit selling at these levels then I think we could be fairly certain that something is up. For now, I'm simply left guessing. Regards - Dale
