I can speak to the fact that all my friends who went to school with me have never divorced and all have been married for many decades. Many I know now who went to schools with no prayer are divorced. I believe I have heard of studies that married folks live longer. I'd suggest that their children grow up a little happier and are more likely to have children. So those who live in families that pray privately and see an affirmation of prayer publicly are more likely to procreate and thus not become extinct.

Those whose mind sees prayer as something to be forced to listen to are more likely to become extinct. They reflect the mindset of adults who don't understand the unifying power of prayer. The stress reducing power of prayer.
