What is this all about? Anybody heard of E-Sat, and/or Echostars involvement in it? from space news 6/16/97 issue: Eurockot Will Launch E-Sat Constellation The German-Russian Eurockot Launch Services' first commercial contract will be for the six-satellite E-Sat data-messaging constellation planned by Echostar and DBS Industries. The Russian-designed Rockot vehicle is set to launch the 210-kilogram E-Sat satellites in pairs from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome beginning in late 1998. Eurockot is a joint venture between Russia's Khrunichev and Germany's Daimler-Benz Aerospace AG. FB
