Hi X. You're right. There really is no logical reason to go after J. Lummox Allen and his koterie of konservatives. It is pointless. It used to have some entertainment value, but I'm not sure that is the case anymore. On Saturday four RWET regulars found it necessary to weigh in what I thought was a personal spat between JLA and me. Then yesterday, an even dozen showed up, fangs bared. Today, another four or five. They travel in packs defending their own, like rabid hyenas.

Re: "Maybe being an aggressive bully on the net can be a surrogate for real sexual encounters." Interesting. Haven't thought about it in those terms before. But, yes, with some of those who go out of their way to spar with me, yes, I would suspect what you say is true. I must think about that some more.
