Yep-- PS is being used instead of PE. Very easy answer to the reasoning,,, a look at some PEs would make some sick issues look sick instead of promising. PEs are not fun to see on earnings that have evporated faster than the SP deteriorated. P & anything is a tool,,, but PE is what it will all boil down to in the end on most issues esp those now watched under PS as rev and margins shrink. The only thing to really turn the mkts will be the E in PE expected in Q2 of '02. JMBS,,,
