Al Re..Your view would confirm that these two guys mis-represented the problem (likely a campaign payback to big oil), since in a couple of short months it has abated.

They hardly misrepresented the problem. Without a major slowdown of the economy, we would still has a gas shortage because we are short of refineries in this country. We should also increase our drilling to reduce our dependency upon OPEC, surplus or no surplus.

But I would say that your descriptions are exaggerations and don't accurately characterize Lewinsky, for example. <<<<
