"My question is why or you so offended if others want time to pray?"

I am not offended by others wanting time to pray...no one denies them that time. My question was and still remains unanswered is this, why does the prayer have to be done in a public setting which demands the inactive or active participation of others. My first question was "what evidence is there that public prayer is better that private prayer. I think that public prayer is just a form of proseltyzing. The prayer that you want in schools will probably take less than a minute. Are you telling me that a student can't find a minute during his day to pray if he desires?? Why does he need a captive audience? And btw, where am I misleading you...my comments and questions are as straight forward as I can make them... Tigerpaw had no trouble understanding why do you?
