I think that's correct but also I think that site might be out-of-date
already as prices have really been dropping very fast. Check the two
posts I put from yesterday on the 486/75 and today on the P75. Bonds
and the Dow took a good dump today, so AMD held up pretty well. It
looks like program trading hit some stocks a lot harder than AMD. As
for the 5x86 and the 5K86, it is pretty hard to compare so I think
the best way is to look at some of those magazines that advertise
both the AMD chips with the motherboard and peripherals and the
similar Pentium setups. It looks to me like the AMD wins on price.
One other note about the Packard Bell systems: that company doesn't
have a very good reputation for service and quality, but they sell
their stuff anyway: that's another reason it looks like more people
are shopping for price than for hype.
